Cherry Bank is a family-run guest house situated in beautiful, peaceful surroundings below the Skiddaw range, just before the Dodd Wood area, about two miles from Keswick town centre.

The house stands in its own grounds, with ample private parking and magnificent views towards the Grizedale and Causey Pike ranges, Newlands valley, Borrowdale, Cat Bells, Walla Crag and the Helvellyn range.

Dogs are very welcome and there are several pleasant walks nearby. We are ideally situated for those who wish to walk the beautiful Lakeland Fells or to explore the northern areas of the Lake District National Park.

The Old Barn

Situated at Woodhow Farm just five minutes walk from Wastwater Lake, the Old Barn is an ideal cottage to take your dog on holiday with you. There are hundreds of walks right from the front door – you can either go along the valley floor or up Scafell, Great Gable and all the other Wasdale fells.

The cottage itself has two bedrooms – one double and one set of bunks. The living accommodation is open plan, comfortable and has a wood burning stove.

There are two pubs within a mile of the cottage.
