Challacombe is a small parish in the Exmoor National Park, and is an ideal base for exploring the heart of Exmoor and the spectacular coastline of North Devon.  We have excellent local amenities; a friendly local shop/Post Office with a petrol pump; and The Black Venus Inn, offering very good food, real ales, and traditional atmosphere.

Grant’s Cottage in the heart of Dartmouth sleeps anything from couples up to eight people and dogs are very welcome!  Grant’s has 4 bedrooms, 2 en-suites and a family bathroom, a cosy lounge with wood burning stove, well equipped kitchen-diner, additional conservatory lounge and private enclosed courtyard with BBQ and seating.

A flat short walk to the local shops and pubs and restaurants many of which welcome dogs. Wonderful walks around the town itself as well as dog friendly beaches a few miles away (some of which are dog friendly 365 days year) and miles of walks in the beautiful South Hams countryside.  Our 3 ’boys’ adore being at the cottage and we hope yours will too.

Pobbles Cottage is a newly renovated three bedroom cottage in the conservation area of Ilfracombe on the glorious North Devon Coast. The cottage has a traditional enclosed walled garden which is ideal for dog owners and is only a few minutes walk to the sea front and harbour restaurants.

There are many dog friendly beaches and pubs in the area and some amazing coastal walks on your doorstep.  The cottage has full central heating, a good selection of books and coastal art and makes a wonderful retreat at any time of the year.
