Here at Yetland Farm, we welcome dogs in all of our six 4 star
graded cottages which are all formed from the old farm barns and are
situated around an open flower filled courtyard. The cottages range
from a one bedroom cottage sleeping 3, to three bedroom
cottages, sleeping 6.
We are the perfect place for dog holidays, as
we have plenty of room for exercise (our top field has fantastic
views across to South Wales), two miles from Exmoor National Park,
South West Coast Path, and close to the large sandy beaches of North
Devon. Most Pubs and public places in the area are dog friendly.

England by Trip Advisor for 2 years running (2008 & 2009), we were
finalists in South West Tourism Awards and received an award for
Self Catering accommodation of the year in North Devon in 2009. We
welcome 2 dogs in our Wheel Room cottage (sleeps 2 adults) and 1 dog
in our Corncott cottage (2 bedroom – sleeps 3)

good food, real ales, and traditional atmosphere.

With magnificent views across
Watermouth Cove and the Bristol Channel, Widmouth Farm Cottages
provides the perfect holiday accommodation for dogs and their
owners! There is a private beach 2 minutes walk across a field
and the South West Coastal Footpath borders our land. We also
have a sheep free ‘dog exercise field’ very close to the cottages.
Widmouth Farm is half-way between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin, the
Gateway to Exmoor, North Devon.
If you want more space in your car we can rent dog towels and covers
for the furniture. Stair gates are provided free of charge.
We can usually order your dog food for you.
Many visitors love interacting with the farm animals, including
sheep, pigs, goats, alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs and poultry.
You may help collect eggs, and buy farm reared lamb & pork
(available seasonally) as well as home cooked (frozen) meals.
Widmouth Farm is ideally situated for exploring North Devon. Nearby
attractions include Marwood Gardens, Rosemoor RHS Gardens & Combe
Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. You will also be within
easy reach of Arlington Court, Chambercombe Manor, and Ilfracombe
Golf Club. There are too many dog walks to mention here but we
can advise you when you arrive! |

Little Owl Cottage is a luxury grade II listed
thatched character cottage sleeping 2 adults hidden away in the
small village of Knowstone on the edge of Exmoor. The village boasts
a Michelin Starred Pub - The Masons Arms which is 50yds from Little
Owl. The Masons Arms is the 'Michelin Pub of the Year 2010'
Little Owl is the perfect dog friendly cottage. It welcomes one
well-behaved dog at only £4 per night, dogs love the secure garden
at the rear of the cottage and The Masons Arms welcomes dogs.
Little Owl is a brand new letting cottage for 2010 and we are taking
bookings for stays after 1st April 2010. A 10% discount is available
before this date for bookings. We have no photos of the cottage just
yet but this will be updated shortly.
Little Owl was built in the 16th Century and the lounge exudes charm
and character with a large inglenook fireplace with original bread
oven and a wood burning stove, large window seat and original
ceiling beams.
