Lake House Cottages Lake Villa, Bradworthy, Devon, EX22 7SQ         Our four character cottages, sleeping from one to six guests, lie in a secluded position half a mile from the village of Bradworthy in rural north Devon, 3 miles from the Cornwall border. All are pet friendly. There are large gardens, a meadow and 2 lakes. The village has a pet friendly pub, church, tea rooms and several shops. Some of the best sandy beaches in the south west are within 10 miles and virtually all the beaches in the area are pet friendly all year. The cottages, which are between 150 and 350 years old are surrounded by farmland and hedgerows full of flowers. Each attractive cottage forms part of the period farm house where we also run our small Bed and Breakfast. In addition to the large, sunny gardens available to all our guests we also have a 6 acre meadow and two lakes with fishing. The lakes adjoin a local nature reserve and the wildlife in the area is plentiful. There are picnic benches and a BBQ and free fishing for our guests. Dovecote Cottage Higher Slade, Ilfracombe, North Devon, EX34 8LH   Dovecote is a 150 year old cottage nestling in the Slade Valley located on the outskirts of Ilfracombe, opposite the Cairn Nature Reserve.  The cottage is an ideal base from which to explore beautiful North Devon as it lies within easy reach of all the major beaches and attractions - just a 10 minute drive from award winning Woolacombe Bay.  There are excellent walks right from the door, including easy access to the coastal path. The cottage, which has been refurbished in a contemporary style, has a wood burning stove in the lounge, and outside, a secluded garden and patio area in which to relax.  The cottage sleeps 4-6 people, and well behaved dogs are very welcome.

The Old Shippon Dunsdon Farm, Pancrasweek, Holsworthy, North Devon, EX22 7JW       The Old Shippon at Dunsdon Farm is a Five Star rated, beautifully restored stone barn, situated in picturesque North Devon countryside, and close to the North Cornwall coast. Dunsdon Farm is a 54 acre farm situated in open countryside adjoining the Dunsdon National Nature Reserve, designated as a SSSI, as a rare and protected culm grassland area. The Old Shippon is set within its historic farm courtyard setting, (with its own private entrance and garden, ideal for dogs), and having 23 acres of deer fenced woodland, an ideal area for a peaceful walk with your dog. The farm whilst being managed under conservation principals is grazed by our own fold of Highland Cows, horses and donkeys. We also have owl boxes (complete with cameras) situated in a nearby barn with a direct link to the television. The property was restored in 2011 to a very high standard, and features solid oak staircase, doors and skirting and has been decorated with a contemporary feel, yet still retaining the charm of its historic agricultural past. The Old Shippon has three good-sized bedrooms, sleeping six people, and a reverse layout with bright open-plan living space, all under-floor heated. Your comfort is our main aim, so we have filled one of the finest holiday cottages in North Devon with books and games that can be enjoyed with a coffee in front of the wood burner in winter or on one of the two patios in the summer. This truly is luxury, pet friendly accommodation.
