There are some great dog friendly holiday cottages in Northumberland National Park to stay at, and wherever you go, one thing is sure - your pets are welcome!
Covering almost a quarter of the country - over 400 square miles - Northumberland National Park is one of the least populated national parks in the UK. To the north of the park, you will find the stunning Cheviot Hills, while in the south the World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall and the beautiful Kielder Forest and Water Park in the West.
Northumberland National Park is a great place to relax, have an adventure or spot some wildlife. If you fancy some adventure, you can go rock climbing, mountain biking or horse riding. Fancy something a bit quieter? Take a walk among the Cheviot or Simonside Hills and explore the valleys of Coquet, North Tyne, Beamish and Rede, to name but a few or explore some of the 73 miles of Hadrian's Wall.
There are plenty of other places to take your dog too, such as Chesters Roman Fort or Cragside Victorian House, Gardens and Woodland, as well as plenty of dog friendly pubs!
