We are sure to have something for you as pets are welcome at all of the properties here. There are great self catering cottages, holiday parks and campsites to stay at. If you prefer to take things a little easier, try one of the many dog friendly B&B’s or hotels? Wherever you go, one thing is sure – your pets are welcome!

Dog Friendly Carmarthenshire

Carmarthenshire has some of the most diverse landscapes in Wales. There are scenic mountains, secluded woodlands, long, golden, sandy beaches and beautiful green countryside. Carmarthenshire is sure to have something that appeals to the whole family. Don’t forget the Wales Coast Path. Starting along the golden sands of Pendine, winding through the Pembrey forests and along the Millennium Coastal Park near Llanelli. Finally heading off to the Gower. Carmarthenshire has it all – and is dog friendly too!

Dog Friendly Ceredigion

Ceredigion is on the West coast of Wales. There you can forget the hassle of daily life and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful landscapes. Enjoy either with a short break or a long, relaxing holiday. There are some fantastic beaches around Cardigan Bay to stroll along. If you are a little more energetic, you could head up the Cambrian Mountains. Whatever and wherever you choose to stay in Ceredigion – you and your dogs are sure to love it!

Dog Friendly Monmouthshire

On the border of England and South East Wales lies the county of Monmouthshire.  It is a county of great variations. With built up areas around Newport giving way to rural hamlets in a matter of a few miles.  Well known tourist attractions include Chepstow Castle, Caldicot Castle and Raglan Castle.  There is always something going on in Monmouthshire, especially during the Summer months. Keep an eye out for Monmouthshire County Show, Abergavenny Food Festival and numerous other Country shows and fairs.  There is plenty of good walking routes for you and your dog in the Monmouthshire areas. Areas range from the Gwent Levels to the foothills of the Black Mountains.

Dog Friendly Pembrokeshire

Pembrokeshire – on the beautiful West Wales coast – is an all year round destination. With plenty of secluded beaches – many of which are Blug Flag beaches. Enjoy strolls along the coast with your dog whatever the season – perfect too for short breaks. There are plenty of places to visit – Tenby, Saundersfoot, the Preseli Hills or even the Pembrokeshire Coast Path! All in all, an ideal holiday for you and your dog.

Dog Friendly Gower & Swansea

The Gower Peninsula is blessed with some of the most gorgeous beaches in South Wales. Many travellers continue along the M4 past the Swansea / Gower junctions, heading for Pembrokeshire. Those that choose to visit the Gower area are richly rewarded. Locals may well argue that some of the best beaches are hidden from the casual holiday maker as they require an element of finding. Off the beaten track there are plenty of accessible beaches that are simply stunning – Rhossili Bay to name one. In fact the Gower was named as the first National Park and is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. More traditional seaside activities can be enjoyed at Mumbles, where there is a Pier and seaside shops. However if it’s surfing, beaches or stunning scenery do explore the Gower – you won’t regret it!!

Dog Friendly Vale of Glamorgan

The Vale of Glamorgan is in South Wales situated on the coast between Cardiff and Bridgend. It includes four 4 towns – Barry, Cowbridge, Llantwit Major and Penarth. Don’t forget the lovely Glamorgan Heritage Coast.  Cardiff with it’s great shopping, entertainment venues and tourism sites is only a few miles away. For those seeking a traditional seaside day out, Barry Island has it all to offer. With a funfair and guided tours of the area taking in the sites from the BBC programme Gavin and Stacey.

On the Heritage Coast there are fabulous sandy beaches and great coastal walks. You and your dog will be sure to enjoy, 14 miles of great coastal scenery. Some of the beaches welcome dogs all year, whilst others have restrictions during peak periods.
