Cardiff with it's great shopping, entertainment venues and tourism sites is only a few miles away - a trip to the Millennium Stadium is a must! For those seeking a traditional seaside day out, Barry Island has it all to offer, with it's funfair and a recent addition are the guided tours of the area taking in the sites from the BBC programme Gavin and Stacey.
On the Heritage Coast there are fabulous sandy beaches and great coastal walks that you and your dog will be sure to enjoy, 14 miles of great coastal scenery. Some of the beaches welcome dogs all year, whilst others have restrictions during peak periods. Whatever the weather there's plenty to do in the Vale of Glamorgan.
