Laverock Holiday Cottages Laverock Hall, Eggleston, Barnard Castle, Co. Durham, DL12 0AY         We are based near Barnard Castle, Co. Durham and our 50 acre farm is situated in a designated AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest).   Our cottages are specially designed for people with dogs, and as well as the chance to help out on the farm we have a fantastic purpose built 120 foot indoor Agility Arena available for all year round use!   We have two cottages available, both sleeping 4 people, and up to 4 dogs are included free of charge, further dogs are welcome for a nominal weekly charge. Our cottages are converted byres and date back to the 1700's.   The farm itself sits just over 1000 feet high and is surrounded by fantastic walking country, with the Yorkshire Dales being only 30 mins away and the Lake District 1 hour.
